It was easy, and my whole family liked the Devonshire Cream.
You'll find the complete recipe at the bottom of the page.
Put all the dry ingredients in a large bowl.
Cut in the butter.
Now use a fork to mix in the buttermilk.
Use any fruit you want and mix together. I used fresh peaches.
Put it on parchment paper in the shape of a circle.
Sprinkle coarse sugar on it.
Bake @ 400 for 15-20 min. Make sure it cooks through.
Put some Devonshire Cream on it and enjoy! ;)
Scones

Mix like you would biscuits. Then add your fresh fruit. Pat into a circle and cut into wedges, separate wedges slightly. Brush with a little egg white and 1 T. milk or cream, then sprinkle with coarse sugar.
Bake @ 400 degrees for about 15-20 min. Make sure it is cooked thru in the center. Serve with a dollop of Devonshire and enjoy!
